Day 3 - Part 2
Suddenly, the air around you seems to darken and all the books in the library fall completely silent, like someone holding their breath and then…
Every single book in the towers seems to erupt from the shelves, swirling in a confused and angry mass of pages, battering themselves against the residents inside. They might just be books, but thousands of slicing pages seems a rather unpleasant prospect for anybody.
Probably time to get out of there, and now…
((OOC: This event will trigger an undetermined amount of time after the group has had a chance to inspect Paradisa’s book. Unfortunately the info on that is forthcoming, but you can assume it has been investigated and it will be resolved as soon as possible. For the sake of pacing, this is going up now.))

He doesn't leave just yet. Spinning around, his robe flares out as he shouts.]
Everyone out! Come on!
[He throws his disc, slicing a number of books out of the air as it boomerangs back to him. He'll be right there, keeping the air as free as he can to help everyone get out safely]

Meet you at the door, Flynn!

As he's dashing by, he spots her and takes a detour in her direction, swiping at a few books hovering near her and automatically reaching for her elbow]

He's successfully knocking a couple books at a time out of the air with wild wheel-kicks, but he's also not really watching where he's going. He's about to back right into Tim if he's not careful... which, he isn't.]

[ She darts toward him, ignoring a small swarm of papers that cut along her shoulders. The stinging earns a hiss from her, but she pushes forward. The noise of the papers and books cutting and banging against everything nearly drowns out her voice. ]
Can you stand?

Snatching a big reference-type book out of the air, he leaps over, using it like a flat baseball bat to swat a couple of other books heading Allen's way out of the air]
Are you okay? [called over his shoulder as he tries to keep himself between Allen and the bulk of the swarm]

At least it has given him flight; Yuuya darts through the storm with wings beating, hurtling across the room.
It's easier to dodge, being so small and fast, but getting clipped by one of the angry volumes is more trouble than it would be for a person. Actually, that's probably going to leave a bruise.
But he's been shot at before - This is nothing!
Ow.
He wavers but flies on, towards the the area CLU and Flynn are opening up. Being so defenseless really sucks! (It's almost funny.)]

Just keep moving straight!
[Thankfully, he's had a lot of practice with hitting moving targets. He concentrates his aim, trying to clear a path for the poor guy.]

There's movement, the weight of books flying through the air in a violent fashion. But she tries to hang on. At least long enough to --
A book strikes her hard on the side of the head, causing Fred to release her own book. She blinks, trying to clear her thoughts]

[He releases the book he had, moving for the exit and trying to watch for anyone else in trouble. A gun and limited ammo won't do shit against that many agitated sources of papercuts.]

After wheel-kicking a good couple of them out of the air, he gets swarmed in force by a healthy group of angry books and it totally trips him up. Arms swiping out around his head in an effort to get them away, he can't see where he's going at all]

Of course, she's derailed as several books coming flying at her at once, knocking her to the ground.]

[Fred arrives at her side, working against the chaos. Hopefully Geoff is alright behind her. She works to help Lilah up]

[Noah draws his gun out of habit and flips the safety off, pausing only to make sure everyone's on their feet and following the others.]

[And then running!! He'll stop and protect anyone who looks like they need it; he's huge and everybody else is comparatively very small, after all.]
