Day 3

Eventually the group finds themselves in a new part of the city. The stone is cleaner, the air is brighter, and everything seems far better cared for. Whether this is illusion or truth, it’s hard to mistake the trickling sound of a fountain ahead, drawing you into view of a massive open courtyard. Rising out of the middle of it is a tall building with a strangely crooked spire, topped with a globe like a watchful eye.

Closer, it’s easy to read the carved sign above the doorway.

[The last page seems to contain some kind of premonition. It seems relevant.]

Is she here with us? Or are these journals of people who are still back at the castle?

[He blinks, stopping Harry from closing the book as he reads over the premonition.]

Hmm. Interesting.

I haven't seen her here.

[He looks up as Kevin read over the premonition.]

I'm not sure I understand that (premonition thing). [Small frown] What does it mean?

Are you referring to the idea of a premonition or the vision, itself? The vision itself [He shrugs] It could mean any number of things. It also depends on whether it's to be taken literally or metaphorically.

Both actually. I don't believe in magic. Curses and stuff is usually only there to scare people or take their money. But things might be different in other worlds.

I can't remember by journal getting covered in black goo.

[He shrugs] Never said I believed in magic, either, but I've certainly seen plenty of unexplainable things since I've been here. Anything's possible, after all. Premonitions can be something as simple as psychic energy, anyway. [He smiles] It wouldn't have. Premonitions are visions of the future, after all.
